Bit of a shock to the system this week being given maths to do again! Especially when the lecture turned to binary, saying that I can see why these elements are useful in this course, even if I wasn’t fully … Continue reading → Continue reading
Many more to go! So after my first week on this course I can safely say that I am convinced I am going to enjoy this course. TECH1019 has probably been the biggest challenge of the week as I havent done any maths since year 10, and this module is (well it seems) hugely maths […] Continue reading

So far, I’ve been really impressed with the contents of the course and CANNOT wait to start producing some work.
I also didn’t know physics and maths were related to radio, so i’m looking forward to those lectures.
Enormously excited about the 3 years!

This site is dedicated to the work of students, staff and volunteers at De Montfort University who are producing broadcast radio and on-line audio content. As a contributor to the DMU Commons project, this is a space for free thinking and free expression. We are looking to test the boundaries of the way that people think about radio and audio content, particularly as it becomes more interactive, mobile and works across different platforms. The thoughts and ideas expressed here are a work in progress, will need some polishing, but will give an insight into the minds of a community of practitioners who see themselves as the future creators of audio content that takes radio forward around the world and using new technologies and new distribution platforms.
